EVERYTHING BETTER
Fusion Orthopedics · Mesa, Arizona — A complete foot and ankle fixation line built on one idea: implants shaped to the anatomy they're fixing, and instrumentation designed to place them there through the smallest window the workflow allows.
ALIGNMENT
Fusion Orthopedics builds fixation for the lower extremity and nothing else. That focus shows up in the hardware — anatomically contoured plates, poly-axial locking, low-profile screw heads that sit flush, MIS-friendly instrumentation across the entire line. Lotus Medical carries the portfolio in Northeast Ohio & the Mahoning Valley.

FIBFIX™ FIBULA NAIL
A low-profile intramedullary nail built specifically for fibula fractures and osteotomies. Titanium alloy, nine sizes, three lengths. FlexZone™ technology gives the construct controlled flexibility for dynamic load sharing — strength where the bone needs it, give where it doesn't.
The anatomical distal design accepts up to four 2.8mm soft-tissue-friendly screws that thread directly into the nail. Universal proximal holes take up to three 3.5mm syndesmosis screws, or a flexible rope system including the BOLO™ Button — so rigid and flexible syndesmotic fixation both live on the same implant. Optional end caps in seven sizes for removal or added length.
LAPILOCK® 4D ADVANCED BUNION CORRECTION
Lapidus correction in four planes, controlled from a single frame. A proprietary arch derotates and holds the sesamoids under the crista. A dial reduces the IM angle. A screw sets plantar and dorsal flexion of the first ray. A third dial compresses or distracts the TMT joint.
The Y.O.C.O. blade is built to cut once — minimal bone removal, clean bone-on-bone apposition — and the counter-pressure design will not break the patient's second metatarsal. Thirteen-plus implant options off one platform.
In independent bench testing commissioned by Fusion, the LapiLock U-Plate construct ran 261% more cycles to failure and withstood 120% greater load to failure than the compared biplanar plating construct. Benchtop data; full report on file at Fusion Orthopedics.

MINILOCK® MIS BUNION CORRECTION
Minimally invasive bunion correction with fixation that holds the capital fragment where the surgeon puts it. In MIS bunion work the correction is only as good as what maintains it once the foot leaves the table, and the failure modes are specific: the fragment rotates, pistons along the screw axis, or drifts back toward where it started.
MiniLock is built against those three. Proximal stability is maximized to resist torsion and pistoning at the osteotomy. Self-compressing slots on select plates drive compression across the cut rather than leaning on screw purchase alone. And the construct allows the sesamoids to be derotated and held in anatomic position beneath the metatarsal head — the frontal-plane component that modern bunion correction is built around.
Percutaneous approach, low-profile hardware, and a construct designed to stay put through the healing window.
TAILORLOCK™ TAILOR'S BUNION CORRECTION
Fixation built specifically for the bunionette. A low-profile, anatomically shaped plate allows controlled translation of the capital fragment and holds it with a three-point screw configuration — distal, lag, and proximal. Limited plate contact preserves the soft tissue envelope, and threaded holes accept both poly-axial and locking screws.
The screw strategy matches the bone: larger diameter proximally where cortical purchase is available, smaller distally where bone stock is thin and profile matters. Color-coded screws keep placement straight intraoperatively. It runs through a 1–2cm lateral incision by either MIS or mini-open technique, and the construct is built to support early weightbearing.
The cleared indications reach well past the bunionette — first through fifth TMT fusions, intercuneiform, navicular-cuneiform, talonavicular, calcaneocuboid and medial column fusions, hallux valgus and rigidus osteotomies, and first MTP arthrodesis.
POLYLOCK® MTP PLATES
First MTP fusion plating with a thin, malleable profile that contours to the joint and lets screws sit flush. Thirty degrees of poly-axial locking puts screws at the angle the bone allows rather than the angle the plate dictates. Self-compressing slots on select plates, and low-profile screw heads that avoid stress risers and soft-tissue irritation over a joint that has very little cover.

FROM TOE TO TIBIA
Ankle and hindfoot — fibula fractures and osteotomies, syndesmotic injury, distal tibia and ankle fusion constructs.
Forefoot — Lapidus bunion correction, minimally invasive bunion correction, tailor's bunion, first MTP fusion, and forefoot and midfoot arthrodesis.
